On Monday, Oct. 11, Columbus Day, school’s out but children in kindergarten through fourth grade can enjoy their day off with a special trip to Cape May. The Katz Jewish Community Center in Margate will take the children on a cruise along the Atlantic, where they will have a chance to see dolphins and whales in the height of their season. Afterwards, the group will enjoy sports, art, swimming and fun in the afternoon, back at the JCC. The program runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; cost is $75.
