In March, the minds of the staff of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Southern Branch, were on Thanksgiving, and securing thousands of turkeys to distribute to charities they support.  

Executive Director Evelyn Benton said the food bank distributed more than 4,000 turkeys by Wednesday, Nov. 25, to the 250 member charities in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties.
