Ocean City Pops orchestra tours the world without leaving the Music Pier

OCEAN CITY – Sunday night the Ocean City Pops with guest conductor Adam Boyles sampled music from around the globe.

The orchestra took on extensive music and played it magnificently.  Accordion virtuoso Julien Labro added stunning vitality from three instruments.  French-born and trained, U.S. resident Labro also played a German-invented instrument popular in Latin America for Spanish repertoire — that’s the bandoneon—and an acordina.  World music, indeed.
