MARMORA – Aaron Wittkamp Colwell American Legion Post 239 in Tuckahoe and the Rotary Club of Ocean City–Upper Township have joined forces to create Operation Used Bicycles, a fundraiser to bring local veterans a means of independence, freedom and transportation.

Randi Scheck is the Rotary Club’s second vice president and programs coordinator, and a stylist who works at Wayside Village Barbershop in Marmora. She came up with the idea when one of her clients, who happened to be a former commander of the local chapter of the American Legion, was looking for a way to get involved with other community organizations.
