Youth Empowerment celebration fosters self-image for better future

OCEAN CITY – Pecks Beach Village, the development where 17-year-old Maliha Chowdhury died in December, was the site of a community celebration intended to inspire local children and adolescents on Saturday, May 9.

At Saturday’s Youth Empowerment Leadership Explosion (YELE) children and young adults attended workshops on self-image and their future on Saturday, listened to the words of former National Football League (NFL) player William Green.
