Another vote on SJGas pipeline delayed

Critics use opportunity to say earlier resolution to stop pipeline was better

NEW LISBON – Due to technical difficulties, the New Jersey Pinelands Commission delayed a vote that could stop the South Jersey Gas plan to build a natural gas pipeline to the B.L. England generating station.

The resolution to remand the company’s pipeline application was on the agenda for a Friday, Nov. 8, meeting, but problems with commission members attending the meeting by phone forced the delay.
