School moves forward on health initiatives

OCEAN CITY – In December, police officers, mental health professionals, clergy, Ocean City Board of Education members, administrators, education staff and community members held the first meeting of an ad hoc committee focusing on mental health and wellness for Ocean City School District teenagers. 

In one week, on Wednesday, Jan. 13, the ad hoc committee will meet for the second time. The committee plans to have four meetings.
