Vastly expanded restrooms at Sixth Street

Ocean City spends $690,000 on new facility, reworks Boardwalk entrance

Ocean City demolished the old restrooms at Sixth Street and the Boardwalk and have built a new, $690,000 facility that will accommodate more people. City officials said this one, on the configured entrance to the Boardwalk, will serve as a prototype for for a permanent restroom facility at 11th Street. The facility, which abuts the Wonderland Pier amusement park, is expected to be open in mid-April.
