PETERSBURG — The Upper Township Business Association is sponsoring a roundtable meeting with Upper Township CFO Barbara Spiegel and Upper Township engineer Paul Dietrich to discuss how to do business with the township.

Topics will include:

— What is a Business Registration Certificate and when do I need it?

— How do I submit a bid?

— How are bids evaluated?

— What items and services are bid?

— When is a Request for Proposal (RFP) used?

The free event is scheduled for 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Upper Township Municipal Hall, 2100 Tuckahoe Road in the Petersburg section of the township.

The Upper Township Business Association was formed in 2010 to promote the business interests of its members. The organization believes businesses help make a strong community, and when residents and businesses work together, everyone benefits. Through its Shop Local campaign, community outreach, business education, promotions and events, it provides a means for residents and businesses to help each other and the community.
