LINWOOD — Nashville North Studios will host a rare “Third Friday” holiday party with an open mic Dec. 20 at the gallery at Linwood Greene.

“We welcome last-minute purchases from our regional artists. Their beautiful works will help you fulfill your holiday shopping needs, so bring your wish list and choose from original miniature paintings on our glass tree and the beautiful works filling the walls,” owner Judy Saylor Allison said.

The group exhibit is “The Big Chill” and the solo exhibitor is Northfield resident Renee Leopardi, a pastel artist who is going to have some just-completed paintings of New Mexico along with some works of favorite South Jersey places to chill. The exhibits will be on display through Jan. 15.

“Our holiday party will give your holiday a great start, both musically and visually,” Saylor Allison said. “We will have the opportunity to enjoy the music of many uber-talented musicians at the open mic hosted by Tim Faherty, a musician in his own right, along with Greg Clayton, Reid Alburger and others. There will be CDs available for purchase that would make a nice holiday gift,” Saylor Allison said.

Other attractions include the Featured Artists Collective showcasing juried regional artists in their own special sections.

The holiday party is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. at Nashville North Studios, Suite 8 at Linwood Greene, 210 Route 9 in Linwood. All works are for sale and personalized gift certificates are available upon request. Gift wrapping is free and shipping can be arranged. For more information, call (609) 504-5044. The event is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.
