Savor flavors of fall during Cape May Food & Wine Celebration

CAPE MAY — Come to the City of Cape May, one of “America’s Best Food Cities,” according to Condé Nast Traveler magazine, ranking with cities such as New York and New Orleans, and experience the flavors of America’s First Seaside Resort during the 19th Annual Cape May Food & Wine Celebration, from Sept. 11 through Sept. 20, sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC).

Haunted happenings this summer at Historic Cold Spring Village

COLD SPRING — On Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of August, visitors can enjoy guided evening ghost walks throughout the grounds of Historic Cold Spring Village and learn about the museum’s history of hauntings. And for those interested in a more hands-on haunted experience, the village is hosting two evenings of paranormal research this summer.

Artists’ Cooperative Gallery presents Murphy-Leary, Quiggle works in Aug.

During the month of August, the Cape May Artists’ Cooperative Gallery features the work painter Barbara Murphy-Leary and clay and paper artist Janis Quiggle. For this exhibit they’ve chosen “first impressions” as a theme. Barbara is showing her acrylic and mixed media work; Janis displays pottery and boxes. A meet-the-artist reception will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8.

Crew helps make ‘Search for Intelligent Life’ a success

CAPE MAY — The opening night of “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe” was sold out at Cape May Stage, and the audience was not disappointed. The play proved to be timeless. Director Roy Steinberg added his own up-to-date touches and Tricia Alexandro delivered a stellar performance.

KONG ride returns to Morey’s Piers
