The Cape May County Republican Party seems to be fracturing again.

Not so many years ago the GOP was doing its best to push out Freeholder Gerald Thornton. He not only survived the push, but thrived, going on to become the director of the freeholder board as longtime power brokers in the county went the way of the dodo, at least in political circles.
