I covered the District 32 wrestling tournament for the newspaper. I took photos of the Ocean City and Mainland wrestlers and did a story on the Lower Cape May Regional wrestlers. While LCMR’s Cory Damiana was wrestling in the 195-pound finals, his brother was in the immediate vicinity shouting instructions, corrections, scolding, cajoling … you know, coaching.

After the match I interviewed Cory. One of the questions I asked was, “Could you hear your brother’s coaching during the match?” He could not. When he is wrestling he really can’t hear anything because he is so focused on what he is doing.
