OCEAN CITY – In the 1960s, reporter Edward S. Gore worked for the Ocean City Sentinel-Ledger, chronicling the local news for his readers. 

For 10 years he reported on city government, politics and cultural events, employing old-school shoe-leather journalism in which he covered Ocean City with a critical and shrewd eye.
