To the Editor:

Ocean City made national headlines recently when it topped First Street Foundation’s list of hardest hit cities experiencing home value loss due to sea level rise. Through a peer reviewed methodology, our team of data scientists found Ocean City properties had lost $530 million in potential appreciation between 2005 and 2017, due to increased tidal flooding driven by sea level rise.
