Trying to stay cool while stuck in traffic

If you travel to the shore in the summer or if you’re a local and simply drive around town, chances are you’re going to end up in a traffic jam now and again. There’s no way around it or through it. 

You might find yourself going nowhere fast on the Garden State Parkway or sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on a causeway bridge. A fender bender, road construction, or just an inordinate number of beachgoers on the roads can cause traffic slowdowns and snarls. (More than one million New Jersey area residents – vacationers and commuters – reportedly took to the roads one recent holiday.)
