Upside-down shore house offers fantastic ocean view from second, third stories

OCEAN CITY — Be the first to track beach sand into the new home at 414 Merion Place in the popular Neel Tract area of Ocean City’s Southend.

The developer, who demolished the old home to make way for this three-story beauty, wanted to take advantage of the view so built it with somewhat of an upside-down design, putting the great room on the second floor but reserving the third floor — with the best view in the house — for the master suite.
