LINWOOD – Mainland Regional boys’ basketball coach Dan Williams had no interest in using Friday night’s road victory against Overbrook as an excuse for the Mustangs’ unfocused play last Saturday afternoon in a home loss to Washington Township.

The Mustangs, 8-4 after Saturday’s 55-44 loss to the Minutemen in East Gym, have been beating expectations all season around a veteran group starters that include senior forward Jake Cook and senior guards JaQuan Mace and Luke Mazur.
