LINWOOD – What can the Mainland Mustangs do for an encore after giving their hungry fan base an impressive 8-3 record and a West Jersey Football League Independence Division title to boot?

It was the Mustangs’ best finish in a decade, putting far behind them those back-to-back 1-9 seasons that led up to Mainland’s breakout year under coach Chuck Smith. The season even involved a consolation playoff victory over Deptford. Now, new expectations are set for the young Mustangs this year.
