Ocean City baseball wraps up a strong season at 19-5

OCEAN CITY – While Ocean City’s 2019 baseball season ended disappointingly in the second round the NJSIAA Group III South Jersey playoffs, few can argue with the foundation that has been set by second-year head coach Andrew Bristol.

Bristol, who took over the job last year after serving 21 years as a junior varsity and assistant coach at Ocean City, has compiled a 35-10 record, including an impressive 19-5 tally this year and No. 4 seed in the South Jersey playoff tournament.
