Harvey Cedars lifeguard wins 4th title; Ocean City duo second as a team

CAPE MAY POINT – Jenna Parker, of the Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol, placed first in the 12th annual Cape May Point Women’s Lifeguard Challenge Aug. 2 with a time of 22:58. 

Parker, 35, also won in the event in 2014, 2016 and 2017. She is the event’s only four-time winner. Teammate Maggie Shaw finished seventh, in 27:43, to give Harvey Cedars the team title as well.
