Aimee Altieri, a freshman at Ocean City High School, competed in her first powerlifting meet in Newark May 18. The meet was hosted by Gene Rychlak, president, Revolutionary Powerlifting Syndicate (RPS). Altieri competed in the 118 to 132 pound teenage division and secured first place by posting a 175 pound squat, 85 pound bench press and 225 pound deadlift, with a final total of 485 pounds.
