OCEAN CITY – The Red Raider baseball team is rolling into the playoffs riding a 13-game winning streak, the latest a 10-0 mercy-rule win over Middle Township Thursday, May 16.

“We learned,” said head coach Andrew Bristol, “because last week we were playing them and the rains came before we could get the game in. We had come out confident like they were going to roll over and next thing you know it was 2-0. We tied it up and loaded the bases with no outs, and then the rain came. So maybe that was the best thing that could have happened because we figured out you can’t expect teams to roll over. We came back and had great practices the next few days.”
