Weidman ‘comes home’ to coach Mustang boys soccer after three years as head coach of the girls

LINWOOD – A pair of new but familiar faces will be on the sidelines coaching the Mainland Regional boys soccer team this season.

Alex Weidman, a former standout player for the Mustangs who went on to college athletic success, is the new head coach. He is coming off the past three years as head coach of the Mainland girls soccer team. Before that, he was an assistant coach with the boys team.
